No. mon8 is a non-custodial app. You maintain full control of your assets through your passkey.

What is a passkey?

A passkey is a secure, password-free authentication method. It's stored on your device and provides cryptographic security without the need for traditional wallet extensions.

Do I need a wallet extension?

No. mon8 uses passkey authentication, so you don't need MetaMask or any other wallet extension.

What blockchains does mon8 support?

mon8 is multichain. You can manage and swap assets across multiple blockchain networks from a single interface.

Can I lose funds?

As with any decentralized app, there are inherent risks including smart contract risks, network congestion, and price volatility. Always verify transaction details before confirming.

What is deCash?

deCash is mon8's digital cash feature. You can create a digital "bill" that can be shared and claimed by anyone with the link, similar to sending physical cash digitally.

How do I receive payments?

You can receive in three ways:

• Ask Amount: Generate a QR for a specific asset and amount
• Ask Any: Generate a QR where the sender chooses what to send
• On-chain: Receive from any external wallet or exchange
